In Tascus, a Planning Location is a feature similar to a Work Center that enables you to assign work orders to a location.
When a Planning Location has been assigned to a station, and to orders, this is what it looks like when starting production.

Assigning Orders to a Planning Location
1. Create the Planning Locations
You can define all Planning Locations globally within Works Orders > Settings > Planning Locations.
Planning locations are a semi-colon separated list e.g.
Line 1;Line 2; Line 3;

2. Assign Orders to a Planning Location
Once you have created a list of planning location, you can select multiple orders and assign them to a planning location.

Select the orders in the list view, and click the Plan Location button at the bottom of the screen.
To view only orders assigned to a Planning Location, use the Planning Location filter at the top of the work orders screen.

Assign a Planning Location to a Work Station
You can configure the Planning Location and manufacturing operation for each work station under Settings > Station Setup:

Planning Location - this will mean the Start Production screen will only show orders from the selected Planning Location(s). Leaving this blank will show all orders.
Station Operation - selecting a manufacturing operation here means the operator will not be able to select which operation to run, the station is pre-set to run that manufacturing operation. Set to None to allow the operator to choose which operation to run.
