Steps run sequentially from top to bottom, as defined in the sequence editor window.
You can define within the sequence editor whether steps advance automatically, or wait for the operator's input before continuing.
Wait For Continue
If Wait for Operator to Press Continue is checked against the step in the sequence editor window, Tascus will pause and wait for an input (press continue on the touch screen, or a physical button press) before proceeding to the next step in the sequence.
Auto Advance
If Wait for Operator to Press Continue is unchecked against the step in the sequence editor window, Tascus will automatically advance to the next step in the sequence.
This is useful when displaying a visual work instruction, and advancing to a data collection step.
It's also used to display a work instruction for a fixed amount of time. E.g. if you uncheck Wait for Continue, and set the minimum display time to 5 seconds, the step will display for 5 seconds then move to the next step.
