Client Setup

For use with the Tascus web service

Once you have configured the Tascus web service, and tested that it's functional using the tester, you can configure Tascus clients to send emails via the server.

Enabling the Server (Global setting)

You need do this only once on one Tascus client, and this setting will be saved for the entire site.

Login to a Tascus client, and navigate to the Settings tab > Server

Check the box Use Server App, and enter the URL of the web service that you configured in the web service install & setup.

The Server Test button will send an Http Get request to the server and should respond by lighting up the green button.

Configuring Emails (Global setting)

You need do this only once on one Tascus client, and this setting will be saved for the entire site.

To configure emails to be sent via the server (rather than from each client device), go to the Notifications tab.

Change the Email Source Option to Tascus Server App.

You can then use the Send Test Email button to open the message dialogue, which should allow you to send a test email.
