Running a Production Sequence

Using the Start Production button on Tascus allows an Operator to select and start a Production.

There are multiple step types that can appear during a Production, allowing the Operator to go through the Sequence with clear instructional steps.

Configuring Function Buttons when Running a Sequence

You can configure which function buttons are display when a sequence is running in the top right of the operator user interface.

These buttons are configured under Settings > Station Setup > Station, then switch to the Display tab.

Under the section Buttons to show when running sequences, there are a series of checkboxes that can be used to show or hide function buttons.

These include (moving from left to right)

PM Status (this is enabled under the Station Setup > PM section)

Downtime Status - shows an indicator of production running / idle status

Message OR Parts Request - in this location you can either show a button to:

Send a message to another Tascus user

Or, complete a Parts Request Form (enabled via the System Setup > Parts Request setting)

Comment OR Abort - in this location you can either show a button to:

Record an Comment or Event on the current step result (Note Comment will also be shown if Global Setting 'Comment Button' is ticked)

Or, Abort the sequence

NC OR Print - in this location you can either show a button to:

Open a Non Conformance dialog

Or, Print a label using the station label printer

NC OR Print - in this location you can either show a button to:

Open a Non Conformance dialog

Or, Print a label using the station label printer

Repeat OR Comment - in this location you can either show a button to:

Manually Increment the Step Run number count for this step

Or, Record a Comment or Event (if the Comment box is not shown elsewhere)
