Routings are used to configure each Operation used within a Manufacturing Production.

Manufacturing Routings is located on the Sequence Editor

Routing Nests
Routings are stored in the Parts List table, and are nested at one level below Part Numbers.
In the Parts List, double click on an existing Part Number, and go to the Routings tab.
It's important to add a routing using this process, as this establishes the link between the top-level part number, and the routing part number.
Once the routing has been added, it will have no operations defined, you can create a new operation list for the routing, or copy it from another part number.
Releasing a Routing
As well as releasing a sequence, you can also release a routing for a part number.
You access this function from the same window as Releasing Sequences:
Sequencer Editor > Edit > Edit Sequence Revisions, then click on Release Parts
Select a part number to load up it's Routing, you can then select which operations to release - this will mean the sequence revision that runs for the operation cannot be changed (although you can De-Release, to change the sequence revision).
Copy Routings
Instead of creating new routings each time, you can simply copy the same routing from one part number to another, or to multiple part numbers. This saves time and ensures consistency across different parts.
Use the filter option to narrow down your search.
Select all the rows that are required to copy to another Part Number.
Mass Updates (Updating where a sequence is called)
Clicking on the Update Sequences button opens up a screen where you can find in which routing an existing sequence revision is used, and update multiple routings to use a new revision of a sequence.
First, click on the Update Sequences button in the Manufacturing Routings screen:
Then select a Sequence Revision to find the routings it's currently used in.
Select one or more routings to update (they are highlighted blue when selected), and select the Sequence Revision (Replace) to replace with another revision, then click Replace.
