The Machine Monitor step is design to monitor digital outputs from a manufacturing process controlled by a machine PLC.
Setup
Use the System Digital Inputs to select which digital inputs are monitored when the step is running.
Use the menu Device > Machine Monitor > Config to setup the Machine monitor step.
The Config screen allows you to select which digital inputs are used for monitoring.
The machine monitor step will run this sequence:

Testing
Use the menu Device > Machine Monitor > Diagnostics to check if the step is setup correctly, and is monitoring changing signals.
Create a Monitoring Sequence
Add the Machine Monitor step into a sequence, it will then monitor:
Machine run time
Machine process result (Pass / Fail)
Here is an example sequence using the Machine Monitor step, with a work instruction first, and a conditional step afterwards to handle a step failure.
