Parts Routings

Parts Routings are designed so that different versions of sequences can run for the same top level part number, but under different revisions.

You can setup Parts Routings in the Part List, under the Routings tab for a selected Part Number.

Press the Add button to add a new Parts Routing, this will be in the format of the [Top Level Part number] appended by a letter e.g. _A

Once a Part Routing has been setup, you'll need to add a Manufacturing Routing for it, from the Sequence Editor > Manufacturing Routings tab.

When loading works orders, you can select which version of the Product Routing to use. If none is selected, by default it uses the manufacturing routing associated with the Top Level Part Number.

From the Works Orders screen, select the orders to change, then click on the Change Routing button.

This loads up a screen where you can change which Product Routing to use.
